My mother was a Wescott. I, too, am having problems with tracing the Wescotts in Maine.... my great great grandfather, Chelsea Wescott, was born in Blue Hill, Maine (Hancock County) sometime around 1820-1830, I believe. He had at least one son, George A. WEscott, born in Brooksville, Maine in 1846. Can anyone help me with more information on Chelsea. Let me share my information with you on the Wescotts in Maine.
