This sounds like my great-grandfather. I'll have to check as I am not the family history buff. My mother has page after page of family history and lots of photos. I'll be talking to her in a day or so.

My great-grandfather lived in Allegany County NY (there is also a town of Alleghany NY about 30 miles from where my Grandfather lived). He moved to Missouri and later moved to Florida. My uncle has been to the grave site down there. There are quite a few Wesche's in Allegany County and the surrounding areas.

My grandfather's name was Herman and my dad's name was Howard.
