You must mean Johannes Wertz b. 24Apr1819; d. 19Feb1904 who married Mary Fry 1824-1886. In addition to Johannes, Peter Wertz was the father of: Henry, Elizabeth, Mary, Magdalena, Sarah, Margaret, Peter, David, Catharina, Daniel, Abraham, Ludia, and Isabel Wertz.
I live in Juniata County next to Perry County. I knew a Joseph Murphy who died many years back. There was an early Murphy family that lived in Reeds Gap, Juniata County, PA...very early...Joseph, John, Roy...early burials at McCulloch Mills Cemetery.
