Need help learning anything about August Werner who was a private in the Texas State Police in 1871. He was killed in Bastrop, TX in the line of duty. It is believed he had children. His age is unknown and a grave has not been found. I am not related, but would like to plan a memorial ceremony in his honor.
Is anything known about this man? Any help regarging parents, children, or living descendents will be appreciated.
