I was surprised at how fast you found my post.I agree about the names of the children being clues for the tree.
So with that in mind, here is the family, as I know it, for My Margaret Werner.
Jacob Werner born about 1803 died 1879 in Nevada Township, Wyandot Co, Ohio
Lydia Jane Williams data unknown
Abe Werner
John Martin Werner
Jake Werner
William Thomas Werner
Harriet Werner, married Will Mitchell
Margaret Werner, married Phillip Waters
Emma Werner, married Byron Odel
the remainder of what I know follows.Jake's first wife died in childbirth, as did the baby.So later on in years when he remarried it was to Mrs. Long who already had two children. Then on Dec 1 of either 1875 or 1879, he was run over by a train in Nevada Township, Wyandot Co, Ohio.
Now William Thomas Werner was my gg grandfather, and I know most of the names of his children: Wife was Mary Catherine Mowry of Ohio.
William Thomas Werner b:21 Sept 1833 in Knox Co, Penn.
d:25 Oct 1915 in Allegan Co, Mich
his children with Mary Catherine were:
Liddie Jane Werner b:25 Oct 1860 Ohio
d:10 Aug 1867 Ohio
Mary Ellen Werner b:4 July 1865 Nevada, Wyandot, Ohio
Edwin Edgar Werner b:10 Oct 1867 Nevada, Wyandot, Ohio
d:May 1952 Allegan Co, Mich.
buried Poplar Hill Cemetery, Mich.
Dora May Werner b:1 April 1870 Nevada, Wyandot, Ohio
Anna Estell Werner b:20 Sept 1872 Allegan Co, Mich
James Franklin Werner b:3 Jun 1875 Allegan Co, Mich
William Orlando Werner b:10 Aug 1878 Ganges, Allegan Co, Mi
John Wesley Werner b:14 April 1883 Fennville,Allegan Co, Mi
Giles Sanford Werner b:12 Dec 1886 Ganges, Allegan Co, Mi
Chauncey L. Werner b:Dec 1887 Ganges, Allegan Co, Mi
there are still three names missing from my list.
I descend from John Wesley Werner and Nellie Marie Lawton.
Jacob and Lydia Werner are both from Pennsylvania according to census records. The last census record I have found for Jacob is 1870 Nevada, Wyandot, Ohio. But he was married to second wife Barbara at that time.
Jacob, his son Jake and one wife were buried in Nevada Cemetery, Nevada Township, Wyandot County, Ohio.
