I descend from John Carwell, Amelia's brother. He was my great great grandfather. I have a good deal of information on him, and some on Matilda the other sister, the Schaper brothers that took them in, and some civil war stuff I've pieced together. I have this in the format of a chronology, which I will email you as a attachment if you will contact me. willbacon@charter.net. You are the first desendant of the Carwell sisters I've found. I'll be very interested in what you can add, and I can tell from what you've sent that a lot of it is news to me. Good to hear from you Ed.
