The Wendlings originated in what is now Germany. They evidently originated from modest means although they evidently had something to do with bringing in the Renassaince period. From there they pretty much spread around the world. They migrated from there to England, Spain, Austria and many other places. My family came over on a ship out of Hamburg and landed in Galveston, TX. I am trying to find out more information about them.
