I am looking for information and the descendents of James W Windle. He was born in TN in 1829 the son of John A Windle his mother is unknown. He had one brother John William Windle He moved to Rusk Co. TX with his father's second wife Permelia Lusk, and his brother in 1836.
He fought in the Mexican American War with his brother John William and was discharged in 1847, He appears on the 1850 census for Rusk Co. living with his father's family.
