Ms. Jones, James Madison Wendell(b.1848)was the youngest child of Barney Isaacse Wendell(b.1812)and Sara Paget(b.1823), marr. 1839. His older brother was Isaac Barney Wendell(b.1840, d.1919)marr. 1842 to Jane Blessington(b.1842)(my great-grandfather). James's sisters were Elizabeth Ophelia(b. 1843) marr. ???? Warner, whose daughter was Almeda Warner, marr. ??? Brooks, and Matilda Ophelia(b. 1845) marr. Silas Teachout, no issue. James married Ella Seaman and had two children: Florence, marr. Hidley, and Clarence, who had two daughters: Caroline, marr. Lawlor, and Margaret, unmarried. At one time I knew Margaret fairly well. She worked as a missionary in Mexico. As my grandfather Warner Barney Wendell, my uncle and I have Warner as a name, I'd like to learn more about my grandfather's uncle, even whose first name I do not know. Charles Warner Wendell
