Hi Thomas, I run Family Tree Maker 2005 software for all my gatherings, but whatever you have for a file I should be able to work with, etc. That would be great. I gathered much info from John Kostick's website on Fehmarn when I discovered other Wendel's of my GG-Grandfather's (Henry) lineage came to the U.S.. Henry emigrated to Davenport in 1880, then SW Minnesota in 1884, and from what I can tell, many other relatives of his (all from Fehmarn) emigrated after that...early 1900's. Henry died in 1941, a time when the other Wendel's lived so close (Iowa), including several children of Henry's brother, Fred. I wonder if any of them ever kept in touch or knew of this, perhaps we will never know. My email is: km0d@arrl.net (that's a ZERO) in the prefix. My website is: http://www.pclink.com/rwendel where I have a brief page on Henry Wendel, and a link to the online Wendel family tree I've collected thus far. Regards, Randy Wendel Notify Administrator about this message?
