I have a great-grandmother named Catherine Welsenbach who married Arthur Quinlan sometime around l900. She had a brother named Karl Welsenbach. I believe he was born in Germany, but I'm not sure. They lived in the Rome-Utica area of New York. My father gave me the spelling with an "s" instead of a "z" so I don't know if that changes things. I am just starting my genealogy search on the Quinlan side, so I haven't ordered the census lists yet on the Welsenbach side. If you think there is any connection please let me know.
