1) If you thoroughly read my utterance you will understand that there is, from my point of view, nothing more to add to the story about the russian countess Weltz looking for heirs to her fortune. Notwithstanding if you, or anybody else for that matter, do have ideas how to proceed from here I join in. (That is apart from looking through a couple of years of newspapers from this period)
2) You have, as far as I understand, no knowledge about anyone beeing associated with my ancestor Carl born in Goslar, Hartzgebirge, Germany in 1815. Before that he might be connected to the families Hille, Bohthe, Lampe, Korn, and Kuntze between 1700 and 1800. Names here are: Johan Christian, Heinrich August, Elisabeth Margaretha, Hans Jürgen, Anna Katharina, Johan Albrecht, Sophie Dorthe, Henriette Christiane, Caroline..... No one connected with Weltz, as far as I know, have had the name Jacob.
