Three fathers of a family with the last name Wälti (Walti, Welty, Weldty and so on) lived in the church community of Brienz around 1700: Caspar* befor1630, Hans * before 1664 and Peter * 1694. The three and its descendants did not die in Brienz. Hans immigrated into the Saarland. He was a farm hand in Leopoldsthal and he married an Elsbeth Zand in Hosterhof in 1711.
