Looking through messages I see a Michael Welty B: abt 1759, D: 9 Sep 1815 in Tuscarawas, Ohio. He was married to Christina Ruthraff. They had numerous children. I see where they had a Daniel Welty born in Pennsylvania but no dates of his birth are listed. My great-great grandfather was Daniel Welty B: abt 1809 in PA. He married Louisa Whaling in Tuscarawas Ohio 5 Apr 1839. They moved to Indiana, Owen County, Marion Township and are listed in the 1850,1860 and 1870 census for Indiana. In the 1850 census for Indiana there is a Samuel Welty B: abt 1811 his wife is Susanna. They lived next to Daniel. Samuel was a son to Michael and Christina. This makes me wonder if Daniel was also Michael's son. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated to verify if this Daniel is related to Michael.
