My ancestor Lovina Welty was born Aug.20,1823 probably in York county, Pa. Her marriage is listed in trinity reformed church of York, Pa. on Jan. 24,1841 to George Rinehart. In this register she is listed as Melvina Filty, Thereafter(in other records) it is always Lovina or Levina Welty. George Rinehart was born Feb.10,1809 and lived in Manchester Twp. York, Pa. until he and Lovina moved to Wheatfield Twp. in Perry County, Pa. about 1860. George Rinehart was the son of John Rinehart and Elizabeth Witrecht (Fetrow) and his baptism was also at Trinity Reformed Church in York,Pa. I have seen other Welty births in the Reformed church of York and also in Strayers Church of York. I am looking for the parents of Lovina Welty. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
