I have made notes from several references, but not personally confirmed, for a Jane M Welton who married a James Reid. Jane is listed as the daughter of William Porter Welton and Sarah Lissen of Merrickville.
I have recorded William Porter's family in hopes it will tie me to my line of Manley Welton also of Merrickville. William Porter included in the middle names of his sons Manly, Uzziah and Rufus (all names of Manley's sons)
There is a lot published on William Porter and by active researchers of direct descent. I have seen very little on Jane so perhaps you can help fill in that line.
