Welsh Cath/George PA York/Adams 1790-1820

Looking for family relationships for a Brother and Sister. Catherine Welsh (b. about 1817 supposedly Gettysburg) migrated to Sangamon County, IL arriving 1835. Catherine married George R Weber in 36' in Springfield. Catherine is said to be a daughter of George Welsh and Catherine Hetich of York/Adams County area.

I have seen various family discussions that Catherine's last name is Welch. However I have recently discovered in 1850 federal census for Sangamon that Catherine's brother George Welsh is at the Weber home. George is listed as a farmer 7 years older than sister (b. about 1811) from PA. Brief family history says that these Welsh are related to Henry Welsh, Revolutionary patriot and first Postmaster of Hanover.

I have traced limited information on Hetich's and Welsh and can not find a common link. After several years of trying to find the supposed Gettysburg roots and having discovered George Welsh in Illinois I am hopeful. Catherine could also be Catharina. Any help would be appreciated, will be updating Weber genealogy on-line real soon.

P.S. Weber family line is related to Shutt's, Shumway's of VA, MD, PA areas.
