It is indeed a daunting task you are embarking upon. My father was orphaned during the bombing of London in WW2. He (Peter Welsby) married, and emmigrated to Canada in the 1950s. My father has spent considerable time, and money, retracing his lost brothers and sisters. I have immediate family (apparantly) in England and Australia. I am intrigued to find the Welsby name in New Zealand, so close to Australia. I have found about a dozen Welsbys in Canada, but I am not of direct decendency to any others here. I am not sure that I have the energy to try connect the Welsby lines from England to the US, Canada, Australia, and now New Zealand. Best of luck to you though!
