I don't know if you will have found this information by now, but in the Ontario Archives Land Record Index microfiches on page # 3381 and 3387, there is information on the land grant(s) for Lancelot Wel(l)wood. Both are for Emily Twp, but I have mislaid the information on page 3387. On page 3381, it is listed as N1/2 16 Lot 2 Issue date 1840 Type FG - COMM. RG 01 Series C13 Vol. 091 Page 055.
