Hello Shannon,
I have spent about $2,000.00 trying to find Rudolph's
parents to no avail. About 40 years ago I too thought that his parents were Michael-Jared etc. But I believe I was wrong in that his first son was james and in German tradition the first son is usually named after the grandfather etc. I just recently spent $150.00 to a professional who could not find his parents either. There was a Rohda born in 1758 in Md. that I think may have been Rudolph but I cannot prove it as nothing has been found yet since her/his birth.
I have the letters that were written by Samuel Wellman his grandson to Moses Wellman in Ohio 1837 & 1842.
All of this is expensive. I have over 33,000 names in my data base but very little is known about Rudolph.
I know when he was born, who he married, where, when he died and where and his Revolutionary time with Captain James 1777-1782.
If you would like to reach me personally you can contact me [email protected] think it would be better that way and I can share tons of things about his family that I know for sure.
