Hi Cheryl.
I found Thomas -England 1594, in Salt lake in a Wellman Family History Book....I plan on being in Utah in
the last of October and will look up where I found him, and
write the source for you.

Lodusky Wellman (1841)was my great- Grandfather's mother. Her husband, Gilbert Gates was born at Concord, ErieCo., Penn.1837.

Lodusky was born 15 Oct 1841 at Harmony, Chatauqua Co., New York.

Their only child found, Frederick Gates (my great grandfather) was born there, but was married to Nettie Louise Abbey at Wathena, Donophan Co., Kansas.

My Grandfather Carl Gates was born at Corning (Seneca) Nemaha Co., Kansas and married my grandmother Florence in southren Kansas in Indian Teritory, now Cherokee Co. The family then moved to Oklahoma, and then to Wyoming.

I have a picture of Great Grandfather Frederick Gates and his family with his mother included=(Lodusky Wellman) as well as Nettie's mother(Alberta Emma Dinkle Abbey.)

I am happy to share all I have with you, but will wait until I can lay my hands on the Wellman Book. My Wellmans appear to be Ministers, etc. ....nevelle
