I have been looking for any info regarding this couple. The information I have so far is John died 1900 Indiana. I have found info that he might have been married 3 times. Nancy would be his last wife. They had a daughter Trula Alice Wellman. She is my great grandmother. The story I've been told by family is that Trula was taken at a young age by her mother, Nancy's sister Lydia/Lyda Ann Stewart. Lydia was married to James Nelson Meeks. If anyone knows anything pls help. I have been stuck on this for a while. Can't find anything regarding Trula. She was born Nov 26 1899 Clinton Co, Indiana and died Jun 10 1973 Clinton Co, Indiana. Trula married Virgil Amich, can't find anything on him either. These dates were given to me by family, not verified....thanks
