MISS ALICE WELLING, daughter of MR. and MRS. FRED WELLING, of Leon, and DR. C.D. SCOTT, the popular dentist of Leon, were married in St. Joe, Mo., last Friday. The bride is attending the State Teachers College at Maryville, Mo., and will continue her studies until the end of the winter semester when she will receive her degree. She is a pianist of unusual talent and has completed both graduate and post-graduate courses at the College Conservatory of Music at Maryville. DR. SCOTT and his bride arrived in Leon last Monday evening and will spend the holidays in this city. They will be at home in Leon after March 5th.

Both of the contracting parties are among Leon's most popular young people, and their many friends extend heartiest congratulations and the wish that they may have clear skies and a fair breeze while sailing o'er the sea of matrimony.
