My GGG-Grandmother was Massa Welling, daughter of Edward and Sarah Welling. Massa was born March 13, 1830 and died Sept. 1923 in Pleasants County, WV. Her first marriage was to Robert Campbell - he was killed at New Creek, Hampshire County, VA, during the Civil War. Her second marriage, after Robert's death, was to G. C. Hughes. Is there any connection to your Wellings? Thanks in advance.
