i have a g-great grandmother named "NANCY RAYBURN WELLS"[widow of john rayburn jr']she married ROLAND WELLS IN 1830 calloway co. kentucky.They 4 children allen,isabella
cynthia,roland columbus,Nathan,I would love to know her madian name.I hadheard it was Phillips, but could,t prove it
[she was one tough lady when they sighned up for indian lands in 1827, after john Rayburn jr. died she rode her horse 100 miles to sign up for 70 acres, that bordered her land]i saw where thier homeplace was last year, the Rayburn Creek is still there,They tore the house down in the land between the lakes,when BARKLEY DAM was built. it was a two story log house and quite large,John Rayburn Jr. "WAS ONE OF
