I am related to the Weldys through my mother's maternal line. Grandma's Mother's mother was Susan Ella Weldy, daughter of John Henry Weldy and Mariah Chitwood. His parents were George G. and Elizabeth Layne. Geo. G was son of George and Nancy Laury. I have that Geo. parents as William Jr. and Rebecca with His father as William married to Anne Rebecca Mims. This William's father was supposed to be either George or William.
