Christian WELDY (died before March 4, 1820) m. Susannah GROW (probably Jessamine Co., KY)

The supposition at this time is that Christian could be the son of Christian Welty (d. 1796), of Washington Co., MD.

Susannah had two known brothers: Jacob GROW and Henry GROW, a possible brother William GROW and a possible sister, Mary GROW:

Mary GROW m. William BRUMFIEL/BRUMFIELD: Jan 28, 1802 (Jessamine Co., KY),
Children of Mary (GROW) and William BRUMFIELD:

Merriman BRUMFIELD b. Jan 9, 1803 KY
John BRUMFIELD b. April 6, 1806 Bracken Co., KY
Jefferson BRUMFIELD b. 1812
Robert BRUMFIELD b. abt April 1, 1814
Mary BRUMFIELD m. Jacob MEEKER

Susannah's brother Jacob GROW m. unknown
Children of Jacob GROW:
Elizabeth GROW m. Michael BYERLY: September 21, 1828
Catherine GROW m. John CAYLOR

Children of Christian and Susannah (GROW) WELDY:

Joseph WELDY m. Mary SHADE: May 18, 1826
Daniel WELDY b. June 3, 1809 m. Priscilla THOMAS: May 16, 1830
Elizabeth WELDY m. Jacob GRIMES: August 28, 1829
Jacob WELDY m. Elizabeth SHUPPERT: December 10, 1833
Mary Ann WELDY m. Elias COTTERMAN: June 18, 1833
Rebecca WELDY m. Joseph NYE: November 12, 1835
Henry C. WELDY m. unknown

Priscilla THOMAS b. July 3,1815 had one known brother:
Hazael THOMAS m. Mahala HUFMAN/HOFMAN 1835 in Montgomery Co.
Note: Hazael and Mahala are listed in Bethel Twp., Miami Co. in 1850 census
and in Carroll County, IN in 1860 census.

Willing to share additional info. Any assistance is appreciated!
