Weldrick Family Genealogy Forum

I recently "unearthed" my genealogy from being packed up, so I don't have all sources at my fingertips; however, the two sources I can locate immediately are 1) The book "Peace, Plenty, & Progress - A History of Osprey Township has "ratepayers" lists, and lists George Weldrick on Lot 10, Conc. 11 in 1853. John Weldrick is listed on Lot 11, Conc. 11 in the same year. Source 2) My grandfather's cousin (John's granddaughter) sent me information in the late '70's when I first started, and I quote, "Grandpa John Weldrick had one brother George and he went down Toronto way and I never knew of him to come back to visit Grandpa". Also noteworthy is that John's eldest son was named George. He died when a young boy, and later, John and Rachel adopted a a boy named George. I think it's quite likely that your George and my John were brothers. What do you think?
