Hello,
I continue to struggle w/putting together the family history for my WEEDEN,WHILDEN,WEELDON/BROWN tri-racial family line for which I can make NO connections.
I am currently working w/32 various spellings of the surname, all of which appear valid, and WELDON is one of
them.
I do know that my ggrandfather, WM LAWRENCE WEELDON, Black,
was a slave born in 1829 SC and that my ggrandmother, CHARATA BROWN, mulatto, is listed as born in 1833 NC, but
have no info on either prior to that time.
If of interest, hope that you will contact me.
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
