Adam Welder, 1865-1934, PA
I’m looking for information on the ancestors of Adam Welder (Aug. 9, 1865-July 14, 1934), of Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, who married Margaret E. “Maggie” Moore (Oct. 22, 1865-Aug. 25, 1924). Adam’s parents were Peter Welder and Katherine Koonrad; Peter is supposed to have had 3 brothers, Benjamin, John and Adam, and their parents are supposed to have immigrated from Luxembourg before 1837. My husband is descended from Adam and Maggie Moore Welder’s daughter Edna Tabitha Welder. I would be happy to share any information I have with others researching this family. Some of the descendants may have changed the family name to Welter or Wilder.
