Weld Family; traced to 1066, England

I have an Aunt who did some Weld family search in the 1960s and I took it from her about ten years ago. She wrote that our family of Weld is related to Lewis Ledyard Weld of Colorado. Also related to Cap Joseph Weld and most Welds buried in Roxbury. The two Welds (within our family lineage) that left England came over in 1635. My records go back a few more hundred years with the family name will records locating them at Lulworth Castle, in Dorset, England. I looked at a picture of the man that owns this place with his wife and his resemblance to my Uncle (still living) is remarkable.
While in Salt Lake City on business in 2004, I visited the records library and it is quite a place. I was able to track my family name even farther than my Aunt did and I was able to trace the Weld name to 1066. It stopped after this year.
