I think I have found my John B Welch that basically deserted his family in the early 1900s. The last anyone heard from him was a letter to his sone George Nov. 1903 saying he was working on the railroad. The post mark is 30 nov. 1903 Cotter, Ark. Here is what I found
JB Welch of Leslie, in the county of Searcy, in the state of Arkansas married Caroline King 5 Jan. 1907. (JB was 48 & Caroline was 52)
1910 Searcy Co., Ark census
John B. Welch 52 b. Oh
Carlin Welch 54 b. Ark
Wm G King 13 b. Ark
Berry King 9 b. Ark
Then the family is gone, I havent been able to find them anywhere. If anyone can help me with anything that would be great. I'm afraid I have hit anothr brick wall. Thank you for your help.
