I'm looking for information on my Great, Great Grandfather Richard D. Welch.

We know he was Mayor of Mitchell, SD in 1892. He cut the ribbon at the very first Corn Palace.

b. in Altoona, PA, 1854
Married to Anne (Annie) Sullivan in 1880.

We think his father was Lewis Welch, b. in Ireland.

We'd like to find out more about him, his term as Mayor, any political images, etc.

Also, any information on his parents would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
