Thank you VERY much for this clarification. I know Benjamin WELCH was in Harrison Co for decades, but I haven't found any record, yet, to indicate who his children were. I didn't know of another WELCH line in the area, but you've now cleared that up for me. Do you mind listing all of the children and birth years for your William, so I'll get it straight. I've got the Harrison Co, VA Personal Property Tax List microfilms on permanent loan at the Wash, DC FHC - I've done all the BARTLETTs from 1785 to 1850, and I'm going back now to look at other lines - I'll be looking for all WELCHs and will share whatever I find.
