Dear Charlotte...
I am very intrigued with the Welborn and Stearns connection. I had always heard that Hepzabah Stearns was the daughter of Shubal Stearns who founded the Sandy Creek Baptist Church. This is the church in which the great revival of the 1750's began in America. I would be interested in seeing the Bible records if at all possible. Can someone scan them and transmit them over the internet to be downloaded? I visited the church two years ago and Shubal Stearns grave is marked there. Is Julia McCorke Montgomery of Mission, Texas still living? What about Mrs. J.S. Welborn of Highpoint, North Carolina?
