Hi..Archillis Wilburn and this line is also of interest to me...There was an Arcillias Wilburn listed in the 1830 census records in Halifax, VA...and in fact there are lots of Wilburns in Halifax, VA...I would love to sort all of them out...but cannot do so...
BUT some records sent to me from a descendant of the Wilburns in Halifax, VA..show a Henry Lewis wilburn...and also two maybe three Wilburn/JOnes marriages..
some of these family members lived in Person Co NC and Washington Wilburn m in Person NC in 1831...I feel certain this is same family...there were several Archillis Wilburns in this line...but unfortunately I have nothing concrete to provide...other than most of these Wilburns in Halifax, Va were descendants of Gunnery and Lewis wilburn who were in Goochland and then later died in Halifax, VA..
I suspect (but do not know for sure) that the Archilles Wilburn that m Nancy Jones was the same person in Halifax, VA in 1830...or did I already say that...kinda brain dead in San Diego tonight.
