I've been given new information as to the above family. Godfrey (new spelling) Weiss/White was the second husband of (correction of name, Loretta Koenig to:) Friederike Laurette (nee Krug). Her first husband was C ??? Weiss, who died before Friederike and their four children immigrated to the U.S. She then married Godfrey, who may have been a former brother-in-law. They, in turn had four children.
Laurette, first husband, and Godfrey were all born in Goldlauter, Saxony, Prussia. I'm still trying to put this all together. Any other help would gladly be accepted.
