Gotfreid Weiss and Loretta Koenig, 3rd great grandparents

My great grandmother,Laura Ida Betz-Perkins was the daughter of Ida Laura White and John Allen Betz. HER MOTHER (Ida Laura )died in childbirth in 1871 with their 3rd child. They were from the English River/ White Pigeon, Keokuk Co. Iowa area. Ida Laura's parents, Gotfreid Weiss and Loretta (Koenig) Weiss/White were living close to John and Ida in the 1870 census.
Godfry/Gotfreid/etc. and Loretta are listed with children: Amiel, Caroline, Crocker, and Louis in the 1880 census. Can someone tell me about this family and straighten me out if I have mistakes.

Also, is the Laurette Weiss who immigrated to the U.S. and arrived on the ship, Guttenberg, on 1 Jul 1851 the same person as Loretta Koenig Weiss?

I would appreciate any help I can get in this matter.
