I am descended from Josephine Weis Fisher, who was born in Philly in 1845. I can place a Josephine, age 16, in the household of George and Juliana with the 1860 US Census. But in the 1870 census there is a Josephine Fisher, age 24, with an infant son living in the houseld of John Weis in 1870. I do not show other Josephines in other households at the same time. Both George and John were from Baden, Germany, according to the Census.

She married Samuel Hudson Fisher in 1868, and had a son with the right name the right age so this would be my ancestor in the household of John Weis. The presence of John Weis' obituary in the Fisher family bible seems to back this up. But I wonder if I am looking at the same Josephine Weis in both households, if George and John are brothers or cousins, and which one is actually the father of Josephine?
