I am trying to find Henry Weirick's parents, also spelled Weirich. I have run in to many dead ends but you two seem to be the closest I can get. Please see if you can help me. Here is what I know. Henry was born 3/27/1795 in PA. Relatives say near Harrisburg (not sure of the County). He died Nov. 21, 1868 in Wayne Co. (Wooster, Ohio). Henry Married a woman named Sarah. They had two children in PA, Joseph B: 1825, Margaret B: 1826. Henry bought 40 acres of land in Ohio in 1822. They then had 8 more children in Ohio: David B: 1834 (OUR GGGrandfather), Maria B: 1837, Samuel B: 1844, Hetty, Susan, Katherine, Sarah and Elizabeth. Henry then bought 80 more acres in 1835. I assume this is when they moved to Wayne Co. Ohio since their children were born there from David on down.
I have not been able to go back to the PA part of search. I have alot of Ohio info but cannot find where Henry was born or who his parents were. Do either of you know When George Weirick and Mary Meyer married? Could they be Henry's parents? They had a Henry but I do not know that Henry’s Birth Date. George & Mary also had Paulina, Thomas George and Zachariah. Please let me know any info you may have on Mary & George Weirick so I can find out if they are Henry's parents. I have been stuck at this point for about two years and need help. As you may have noticed there is another Weirick family who moved from PA to Richland Co. OH about the same time. I believe they are related, but with so many similar fisrt names it is really confusing. If we find a match, I have a whole new branch I can give to you from Ohio. Thank you! Hope to her from you soon. Pam Weicik, Dublin, Ohio
