Just came across your posting.

I have a David Weir on my tree b. 26 April 1860

Cambusnethan Lanark Scotland

son of DAVID WEIR and SARAR CURRIE.

David married Elizabeth Ann McCord b. 1856 Ireland

at Penicuik Midlothian Scotland 30 May 1879.

Elizabeth had two daughters before she died of typhoid.

Jane/Janet Weir born 1880 Fauldhouse, Linlithgow

Sarah Weir born 1881 Bothwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland

David may have remarried.

Do you think David could be part of your family tree?

If so, I would love details of his parents and siblings.
