Richard Paterson Weir and James McDonald Weir emigrated to Montreal 5th Jul 1927
Richard and James born 1912 and 1915 in Edinburgh, Scotland(My fathers cousins) arrived in Quebec on board SS Metagama 5th July 1927, from Edinburgh Scotland.
Their mother Elizabeth Weir/McDonald but I do not have information regarding her emigration to Canada, although she died in 3556 Verdun Avenue, 17th Feb 1941 and is buried in Lakeview Cemetery.
Their father James Weir (My grandfathers brother) had died in WW1 in France on 5th September 1917.
Their step father was Peter James Currie Butchard had married Elizabeth in Apr 1924, and I have no further trace of him.
Richard married Violet Mabel Stacey in Grace Anglican Church, Montreal, Canada and had at least 1 child , a daughter Violet Paterson Weir b.1934. He lived at 444 Egan Street, Verdun in 1934 when he got married.
James married a Margaret Power in Montreal and had I think at least 1 child
