I have reseached my grandmother's Weintraub family and have been successfuly in putting together a family tree through the late 1800's. The big question is what happened to all the family members. (Well over 60 names).
The earliest family member I have is Jacob Leib (Iancu Leib), who had at least two sons: Josef and David b. in the early 1800's. They lived in Falticeni, Romania.
my gggf, Biuim (Benjamin)Weintraub moved to Galati, Romania, where my grandmother was born. Some family members moved to Paris.
