I think this question might be posed to you because there was a Christian Weinert on the marriage documents that later changed the name to Vineyard.
However it is believed he was German and was also found in other documents as Wynard.
It is believed to a degree that this family perhaps was Weingartner or Weingart and heance the Weinert might have gotten in.. not proved though because many of the docuements for him are not in the original form but transcribed.
Christian Weinert was married to a Christinah Dobler/Tabler
in Maryland and was believed to have been born around 1740's died in Botetourt County, VA in 1799.
