Several of the family names you mentioned are also in my wife's Weinberg line.

Her Morris WEINBERG (b. near Lomza, Poland ca 1854, d. in Chicago bef. 1914) came to America via NYC, eventually settling in Chicago. Morris was married to Inda/Hinda Alpern/Halpern. Their daughter Celia, married Philip KRAVETZ (b. NYC ca 1891). Celia and Philip also moved to Chicago and had a son named Melvin who married Molly Rivkin. Molly's mother was Bessie KATZ (b. in Russia 25 Dec 1883, d. in Los Angeles, CA July 1975).

These families have been very hard to pin down but all immigrated from the border region of Poland/Russia. Port of entry was NYC with most ending up in Chicago. I believe that several in the Kravetz and Weinberg line remained in or moved back to NYC. I don't know anything about the Katz family.

May not mean anything but you never know....
