Here is a possibility: 1930 US Census, Clayton City, Union County, New Mexico Ben Weiland, age 73, born Hannover, Germany, immigrated 1882, laborer (garden). Age at first marriage - 27 Francis Weiland, age 69, born Hannover, Germany, wife, immigrated 1884. Age at first marriage - 23 Ida Weiland, age 29, daughter, born in Illinois, stenographer (bank) Fred Weiland, age 26, son, born Oklahoma, salesman (garage) Birtie Weiland, age 23, daughter, born Oklahoma, stenographer (real estate) 1910 census of Corrumpa, Union County, New Mexico. B.U. Weiland, age 53, b. Germany, age at 1st marriage 25, immigrated 1880, farmer Francis Weiland, age 49, b. Germany, age at first marriage 25, immigrated 1882 Will Weiland, age 24, son, b. IL John Weiland, age 22, son, b. IL Henry Weiland, age 20, son, b. IL Fannie Weiland, age 19, daughter, b. IL Oliva Weiland, age 2, daughter, b.Oklahoma Rika Weiland, age 14, daughter, b. IL Lina Weiland, age 12, daughter, b. IL Fred Weiland, age 6, son, b. IL Bertie Weiland, age 4, daughter, b. Oklahoma I noticed Oliva is listed as her father being born in Kansas and her mother being born in Illinois (all of the other children are listed as both parents born in Germany). It is also possible she had another surname (there is something listed that looks like it was then lined out) 1920 census, Clayton, Union County, New Mexico Berend U. Weiland, age 63, b. Hannover, Ger, imm 1882, merchant 2nd hand store Frances Weiland, age 58, wife, b. Hannover, Ger, immigration date not shown, merchant 2nd hand store Ida Weiland, age 19, daughter, b. IL Frederick Weiland, age 16, b. Okla, son Berdie Weiland, age 13, b. Okla, daughter Olivia Geis, age 11, b. Okla, granddaughter. Her father was listed as born in Russia and her mother in Illinois (possibly the "Oliva" from the 1910 census?) The Texas Death Index 1903-2000 lists a Bertie Weiland, died 14 January 1976 in Hartley County, Texas. Social Security Death Index lists a Bertie Weiland, born 7 April 1906 and died January 1976. Last address Dalhart, Dallam County, Texas. It says her SSN was issued in Texas in 1951. I also found this family in the 1900 census, Bemmett Township, Piatt County, IL Ben U. Weiland, b. Oct 1856, married 15 years, b. Germany, farmer, immigrated 1882 Francis Weiland, b. Feb 1861, wife, married 15 years, b. Germany, immigrated 1883 Oba Weiland, b. May 1885 in IL, son John Weiland, b. Jan 1887 in IL, son Henry Weiland, b. Jan 1889 in IL, son Fannie Weiland, b. Dec 1891 in IL, daughter Frederick Weiland, b. Oct 1895 in IL, son Sina E. Weiland, b. Mar 1898 in IL, daughter This record also said Francis was the mother of 7 children, 6 of whom were alive at the time of the census. Ben and Francis may be the Berend Weiland and Franke Holscher, married September 1, 1884 in Macon County, IL (record found at Illinois Regional Archives Depository). I also found a Berend Weiland who arrived at Baltimore on 19 May 1882 on the ship Hohenzollern. Ship departed from Bremen, Germany. He was age 25.He was a farmer. The passenger immediately before him on the ship list was a "Gye" (hard to read) Weiland, age 32, who was a farmer. A Franke Holscher arrived at Batimore in June 1883 on ship Hermann, from Bremen. She was age 22. You will probably need to do some research to determine if this Birtie lived in Oklahoma City in 1935 but this does seem to be a strong possibility for being the person you are looking for.
