I am looking for info on my great grandfather, Adolph Weiland (b: 15 Jan 1847, Germany; d: 8 Jan 1918, Erie County, Ohio). He married Anna Geiger (b: 7 Mar 1849, Baden Germany; d: 24 May 1924, Erie County Ohio). They were married in 1870 and he came to the US in 1870 (from census). They had about 12 children, including my grandfather, John. Sometimes he spelled Wieland, instead of Weiland (maybe why we say weeland). Sometimes Geiger was spelled Gieger or Giger or Giser. Both death certificates list parents as unknown.
