To those posting here:
Today is the 100th ANNIVERSARY of the birth of Kurt Weill, who started off as a classical composer in Europe, then moved to America in the 1930's and became a partner with another exile, playwright Bertold Brecht, and together they produced "The Threepenny Opera" which gave us, among others, the famous song "Max the Knife".
Can anyone posting here give us more insight into the life and times of Kurt Weill ?
