I am trying to find more information on the Weigand family in Ky.and have just started my research. Here is what I have so far: William H. Weigand, b. Mar. 4, 1866 Ky married Lillian Scmidt. He was an awning maker and lived in Newport, Ky. His death certificate (d. Mar. 1, 1934 Ky) lists his father as August Weigand born Germany and no info. for his mother. There is a Christian Weigand living close in proximity that I think may be a relative. Christian Weigand's death certificate lists his birthplace as Germany (b 1852)and his parents as Anthony Weigand and Martha Klotzback. Christian has a son named William. Also in Campbell Co. Ky. marriages: Wm Weiand married Mary Otte July 1, 1875 bondsmn Christian Weigand
Christian Weigand married Jennie Mahon Mar 18 1873 (this record says that Christian was born in Philly PA)?
I was wondering if anyone had any additional info. on these Weigands? Especially the parentage of William Weigand? I can not find an August Weigand in the census with a son named Wm. Thanks for any help!
