18th century New York Weidman's unite!
My ancestor Henry Weidman was a land owner in Northampton County, Pennsylvania by 1755.I've spent many years exhausting all records of shipping lists and Eastern Pennsylvania Weidman families trying to figure out who his ancestors were.My research has come up empty handed on this line.If you have 18th century ancestors in Philadelphia, Berks, Lancaster, Northampton or Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania I might be able to help you.I've become aware that Weidman's immigrated to New York as early as 1710.The Switzerland archives as well as books written by Hank Jones have proven the early immigration of this surname.Though I can't put copyrighted information on the internet I would love to share 18th century information and sources. If you can positively document your Weidman/Whiteman family in New York during the 1700's, I'd love to hear from you. Please contact me directly at [email protected]'m on so many lists that I can't even remember which ones to go back and recheck on a weekly basis. My research in the state of New York includes absolutely nothing for the 1800's.Looking forward to hearing from you, Marsha
